4 Case Studies You Can Read in 39-Seconds
by David James, Bethesda Emedia Marketing
Case Study #1:
The voice on the phone was clearly frustrated. “We have all these email addresses but there is no sense of organization,” she said. “We need someone to help us figure out where the ‘Gold’ is in this list.”
She contacted Bethesda Emedia Marketing (BEM). With the help of her technical and marketing staff, BEM first divided the list into 17 logical marketing categories.
“At this point we learned how to tailor specific messages according to customer interests,” said the client.
Next BEM went to work to remove duplicate email addresses from each list and add further details to each address record. Once this was complete, the client could easily subdivide each list on-the-fly, creating highly targeted and customized emails that generated 145% increase in response rate.
“We couldn’t be happier,” said the client. “Now we spend our time on creative design and the marketing message, rather than the tactical and technical details.”
Case Study #2:
The daily newsletter email, once a rising star project of the marketing staff, had become a dreaded chore. Response rates were declining while undeliverable email soared. The technical staff could not coax any more performance out of their server, which became crippled for hours each day as it chugged through the newsletter delivery.
“We didn’t know what to do,” said the client. “The newsletter started out so smoothly, but seemed to get harder every day. We had no idea how many newsletters were being delivered and our response rates were plummeting.”
The client turned to Bethesda Emedia Marketing. Within days, BEM was able to refine and optimize their email database, cutting its size by over 40%. Accurate, data-rich reports have been added and subscription management (‘subscribes’ and ‘unsubscribes’) are handled automatically. Bounced emails are also handled automatically, keeping their database and server optimized and running smoothly.
After 18 months, the client expanded their daily newsletter to include a weekly and monthly journal, along with frequent email press releases.
Case Study # 3:
The specialty publisher had been sending their email newsletters in-house for several years, but there was a general sense that something “was missing”.
“We couldn’t put our finger on it,” said their general manager. “We just knew we should be getting more out of it.”
The client engaged Bethesda Emedia Marketing and soon found out exactly what was missing. After taking over management of their email system, BEM was able to greatly improve sending accuracy, response rates, and performance reporting.
“Utilizing our Trusted Sender program we were able to transverse complex firewall and spam filters,” said (insert president’s name and title here). “Their deliverability and response rates soared.”
Case Study #4
Dramatic changes in the economy were creating dramatic business changes at a advertising services company. Seeking a new revenue stream, the company’s president turned to Bethesda Emedia Marketing.
“We were looking to partner with someone who could provide an excellent infrastructure platform,” said the company president. “Someone who we could leverage our project management and marketing expertise against.”
After integrating Bethesda Emedia Marketing Services within his organization, the president was able to widen his product offering and expand his profit margins without adding additional staff.
